The HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is a 10 unit course accredited by Edexcel to be a level 4 qualification. Of these ten units three are mandatory core, and therefore must be completed, but the remaining units are designed to give a broad base understanding of all the concepts underpinning both electrical engineering and electronics. To gain your qualification you must pass eight modules minimum. Your overall grade will be determined by your best five grades at or above level 4 only.
